Vitamins A & D are essential nutrients for healthy growth and development in infants.
A baby's vitamin D levels continuously rise during development in the womb, however after birth, their levels reduce until they start absorbing the vitamin through direct sunlight and diet.* Vitamin D is essential for absorption of calcium to support healthy bones and teeth, as well as supporting healthy immune system function. If not receiving frequent, direct sunlight, it can become difficult to support Vitamin D levels in babies. It’s recommended that breastfed babies at risk of low vitamin D take a vitamin D supplement of 400 IU or 10 micrograms (μg) a day.*

Vitamin A supports healthy growth during infancy and also supports, immune system function in infants.
